New Flicker
Meet the club, the treehouse, and Pip. Discover the mystery: the town's time capsule has gone missing.
The Firefly Club is a hands-on detective adventure that arrives as a box of six sealed case-file envelopes. Your child opens one at a time reading clues, decoding ciphers, following hand-drawn maps until they crack a real mystery that ends in kindness, not danger.
Real paper, real envelopes, real puzzles your child can spread across the kitchen table. Nothing to charge, download, or swipe.
Everything ships together in a single box. No monthly billing, no "forgot to cancel." Buy it once — the whole mystery is inside.
No villains, no bad guys, nothing that keeps a kid up at night. Every strange clue turns out to have a kind explanation.
Each sealed envelope is a full Firefly Club case file with meeting notes, clues, maps, and a puzzle. The seals (and a "read last" dare) keep kids from racing to the end, so the story stays exciting all week long. Each envelope has a puzzle to solve that gets them closer to solving the whole mystery.
Meet the club, the treehouse, and Pip. Discover the mystery: the town's time capsule has gone missing.
First clues arrive: June's sketches, Oliver's maps, Milo's wild theory, and a muddy pawprint from Pip.
A checklist, a clue card, and the first real puzzle to crack. A cipher only the reader can solve.
Something goes (gently) wrong. A torn map and a secret message send the club back to the drawing board.
All the pieces come together. Your child puts the clues in place and sees the answer before the club does.
The kind ending, a warm resolution, and a Certificate of Completion to earn.
We suggest one envelope a night — but the pace is yours to keep.
Every box is a bundle of short, illustrated pieces made to feel like they were assembled by the club itself. Handwritten notes, taped photos, and coil-bound notebook pages in each kid's own color.
Each detective sees the world a different way, which quietly tells your child there are lots of ways to be smart. A mystery only cracks when all four work together.

Reads people and feelings. Notices who's sad, nervous, or left out and leads the club with her notebook.

Lives for facts, maps, and records. Remembers the detail everyone else forgets and keeps the official files.

Climbs first, asks later. If there's a hidden path, ladder, or crawlspace, Milo has already found it.

Spots patterns and symbols no one else sees. Draws the answer before the club even understands the question.

Part detective, part superhero, all enthusiasm. Finds buried clues (and the exact wrong moment to bark).
Four ways of seeing. One team. There's a Firefly for every kid to be.
The mystery is never "who did the bad thing." It's "what kind thing are we not seeing yet?"
Every case in Huckleberry Hollow resolves into a gentle, warm explanation. The strange lights are misunderstood, the locked gate has a tender reason. It's a mystery your child can love without a single scary night.
"TINY LIGHTS. MIGHTY TEAM!"
Every fifteen years, Huckleberry Hollow buries a time capsule full of the town's memories. This year, it's gone and the Firefly Club has one week to find it. The perfect first mystery: warm, clever, and completely free of anything scary.
The detectives are 8–10, and the box is written for readers roughly 7–10. Confident younger readers can grow into it; 5–6-year-olds love it read aloud as a family; 11–12-year olds enjoy racing to solve it first.
About a week if you follow the "one envelope a night" rhythm. The sealed envelopes and the Read Last card are designed to stretch the excitement rather than let kids tear through it in one sitting.
No. There is no villain in any Firefly Club mystery. Every case ends in a kind, gentle explanation. It's a real whodunit feeling with none of the worry.
Just a pencil and a sense of adventure. Everything needed to read, decode, and solve the mystery is already in the box — no batteries, no app, no extra purchases. Optional: some families add the Explorer's Box — a wooden kit of detective gear and art supplies — but it's a companion, never required. The mystery stands completely on its own.
The Mystery Box is the complete adventure: six sealed envelopes holding the whole Case of the Missing Time Capsule — the notes, maps, clues, and puzzles your child opens one at a time to solve it. It's everything needed to read, decode, and crack the case, start to finish. Nothing's missing. The Mystery + Explorer's Box is that same complete mystery, plus a wooden keepsake box of real detective gear to play it out with: a working magnifier, stakeout shades, chalk, crayons, colored pencils, a squeezable Huckleberry Hollow oak, and a field bag to carry it all. The story doesn't change — but now they've got the tools to investigate like a true Firefly Keeper, and a box that outlasts the case.
Six envelopes. One mystery. A whole town of tiny lights waiting for someone curious enough to notice. That someone is your kid.
